How a Lever works

 

Levers are a simple machine that people in the olden days use to pick up heavy objects. This machine is a little similar to a seesaw like at your local playground. To build this machine you need a piece of wood that cannot snap easily, Then you need a hard small rock which is called the fulcrum. The two last things you will need is your heavy object which is the load and your called the effort. The effort is you pushing the lever down to lift it up, Fun fact: Did you know you can lift it with your pinkie, crazy right. You can only do that if the fulcrum is closer to the load. Now youse know how to do it be careful and don't use this machine around smaller children cause they could get serious injury and maybe die.
