My dream holiday

My dream holiday is going to the biggest waterpark in the world, but most of them are in America. Its nearly school holidays and we have 6 weeks off so I really want to go to America for 6 weeks, well not for the whole holiday but probably 3 weeks. I would like to experience a lot because you can learn from your fears, just like going on the high vertical drop water slide. The fear that I have about it is that you can get stuck or even break your neck, back and probably other things on your body too. Learning from your fears is good because you feel good about yourself that you faced your fears. If you have a fear I will give you some advice, Never give up and believe in yourself and keep following your dreams.

Water safety

Today room 11 had a visitor called Whaia Moe.

She told us these water saving tips that can save your life and even other lives too.

  •  Don't panic when you are in danger because you will loose a lot of air.
  •  Float on your back and do not fight the current  because you get tired and you'll drown.
  •  Raise your hand and shout for help.
Whaia Moe also taught us a short rap about being safe in water and even in rips.
It goes like this, In the water, In the water. On the water around the water around the
water. Children must be supervised, Children must be supervised
Every time, Every time,  All the time, All the time.
Adults can also learn his song as well, But just remember these helpful tips.

Jelly beans music

=

On monday my class and I learnt to read notes and play music with different kinds of instruments, Like Drums, Castanets, Tabareins, Glockenspiel and Triangles. I still don't understand how to really read the music notes. On that day I obviously played a glockenspiel, and a tabarein after it.

Dr Seuss's message about life

We read a book and it tells us a message about life. Life is like a roller

coaster because you have ups and downs. The ups are the good times

and the downs are the bad times. DR Seuss's message is also about you
making your own choices where you want to go. If someone tells you

where to go or what to do you make the choices yourself. If your down never give up and keep trying until you get to the ups.

How to do a wheelie

1. Wheeling is one of the most popular tricks on a bike

or a motorcycle. Even some people can wheelie for a long time and do tricks as well. Anyone can do it if they

Learn and practice.

2. First you have to move your body forward towards the handle bar and pull it up. And at the same time you have to pedal too, but try and get the right timing too. If you learn how to pull up then you have to learn how to pedal as you move the bike forward.

3.Whelling is great and fun because you can get fit. But

remember to be careful because you can easily get hurt,

That's why it is good to wear a helmet.

the other side and some people got tagged.Everyone was happy for playing just like me.After all that

I liked the first day of school, because I got to play and laugh with my friends.

lost in the bush

On sunday morning it was the day I get to go to the big bush in Auckland with my cousin. I got up, got dressed, brushed my teeth,
had breakfast and went to my cousin’s house on my fast blue bike.
Then I knock on the door and talked to my aunt and uncle and left
With a kiss.

We both went racing down the hill with our fast bikes. During the ride we went uphill and downhill, until I said,”Do you no the way”, I said in a frightened voice and my cousin said,”yes I do no the way”. We arrived
and it just looked like a forest and we were both scared, but I said to myself I am brave so went and my cousin copied.

When I went down first I was proud of myself that I was braver than my cousin, during the ride I have experience animals I have never seen before.A few minutes later my brakes were broken and we had to go
Down the biggest hill in the bush and I have no brakes.

I had no choice but to go down it so I went with no brakes and I did not get hurt.We both went right and we got lost because we were distracted. My cousin and I tried to work our way out of the bush but it didn’t work.1 hour later
It was nearly evening we had to think fast because both of us are supposed to
home before dark.

Then I had an idea,I said to my cousin,” we can go through the bush,” My cousin said,” There might be terrifying spiders in there,” my cousin said out loudly. We both went through it and made it out alive then went straight home.
My parents said,”where have you been it’s 6:00pm,” My parents said.
My dad said,” what did you and your cousin experience,” my dad said.

Well I experience a lot of things just like seeing new things, going uphill
and downhill and being brave.
“Well you and your cousin experienced A Lot of things today,” said my parents. And I said yes we have.

What I do after school

When it is home time after school I ride my bike home. Then I put my bag away and ask my mum if I

can ride my bike and do wheelies with my friends. I ride my bike really fast down Rowena cres and

play with my friends. First I always start of by doing some wheelies and waiting until I see my friends.

Then we talk, laugh, do wheelie comps, sometimes we go to the shops, hang around  in Glen innes,

go on rides or ride over jump over the ramp we made. After that we come back after rides to Rowena

cres and it is the evening. Finally we play around Then I go home to have dinner and have a shower

and go to bed.

What makes a best friend

What makes a best friend is to respect each other and help each other

when your best friend needs help.Being Helpful is good because it’s

showing other people to do the same thing. I have a best friend named

Asi. He is my best friend because every single play time him and I play

together,And also helps me with my work and most of all we be kind to

each other.

I chose to go to school

I chose to go to school because we learn new things together and play with our friends on the

basketball court with the net ball hoop, on the field and on the junior side. Also we can go on trips to

learn new things and meet special people that come to teach us different sports to help us succeed. If you

are struggling then tell the person next to you on the right side or the left and work together to finish

your work and play games until morning tea or lunch play. I chose to go to school because the whole

school can go to the swimming pool and learn how to swim on the deep side.

I chose to go to school because we go to assembly and get awards, books, prizes, sometimes treats

from Mr Hendricks or welcoming other students or teachers.I chose to come to school because we can

make new friends with different cultures and different personalities.
